The Coalition to Advance Healthcare Reform expressed disappointment today on the failure of the Senate Health Committee to pass the Healthcare Security and Cost Reduction Act (AB 1X1). The Coalition urged continued action on healthcare reform as California still faces a healthcare crisis with out of control costs and millions left uninsured. The Coalition to Advance Healthcare Reform Urges Senate Health Committee To Support Health Care Security and Cost Reduction Act
The Coalition to Advance Healthcare Reform urged the California State Senate Health Committee to pass the Healthcare Security and Cost Reduction Act (AB 1X1) today as the bill was heard in the Committee. The Coalition to Advance Healthcare Reform Promotes Prevention and Wellness Programs For Workers
Today, the Coalition to Advance Healthcare Reform (CAHR) and the National Chamber Foundation co-hosted a forum entitled “Keeping America’s Workforce Healthy: Prevention, Wellness and Behavior.” The symposium spurred an open dialogue with some of the nation’s top business leaders and largest employers on the importance of creating a workplace environment that promotes good health through wellness programs.
